[speaking spanish] adri murguia: augusto pinochetruled chile with an iron fist from 1973 to 1990. during this time, hundreds ofthousands of people were forced to leave the countryin the wake of an economic crisis. faustino was part ofthis migration. adri murguia: when faustinoreturned to chile, he used the skills he picked up in argentinato build his first

home on the other end of thisproperty, by an area known as the green lake. this same skills would continueto help them survive even in the smallest of ways. adri murguia: since his returnfrom argentina, faustino has not travelled beyondvilla o'higgins. but he manages to stay in touchwith the rest of the world through radio broadcastsand by reading newspapers that he gets once or twice a year.
